Complete guide to using Rhyme Protocol

Your first film

  1. 1.Open Music Films and describe it in a sentence or two. Say who is in it and what happens
  2. 2.Or upload a track instead and the film gets built from the song, with every section and lyric mapped to a shot
  3. 3.Pick a length. Three shots at 5s is the free tier; anything longer is a flat price shown before you commit
  4. 4.Click DRAFT STORYBOARD. This is free and generates no video — you get a full board back to read
  5. 5.Edit any card you disagree with. The board generates exactly what is written on it, nothing added
  6. 6.Click LOCK & GENERATE. You are charged when the finished film delivers, never for a failed run

A character who stays the same person

  1. 1.Text fixes a character type, not a face. Left to description alone the same character comes back as someone else in roughly half of runs
  2. 2.Give every recurring character a sheet: a silhouette you would know from its shadow, plus two to four anchors that can never change
  3. 3.Anchors beat adjectives. "Weathered face, kind eyes" drifts. "Obsidian skin with teal veins beneath it, no hair, silver eyes with slit pupils, fingers one joint too long" holds
  4. 4.Add one signature garment and one prop they always carry
  5. 5.Paste sheets in through IMPORT JSON. They are not editable in the UI yet

Cuts that hold together

  1. 1.Shoot wide first, then medium, then close. Each shot is generated from the last frame of the one before, so a later shot can only safely show what an earlier one already established
  2. 2.Never frame wider than the shot you came from. Widen and everything outside the old frame gets invented: wardrobe changes, backgrounds appear, faces stop matching
  3. 3.A low angle looking up counts as widening. It reveals a body the previous frame never contained
  4. 4.Open every shot after the first with the camera held still for a beat, then let it move. Generations coast to a stop at their own ending while the next starts at full speed, and that mismatch is the hitch you see at a cut
  5. 5.Change the shot size at every cut. The same discontinuity that looks like a glitch between two similar framings reads as an ordinary edit between different ones
  6. 6.Give every shot one thing that physically happens. Three shots of someone talking at three sizes is three portraits, and the cuts have nothing to join

Making them speak

  1. 1.Put the line in the DIALOGUE field on the shot card. It gets placed at the front of the prompt, which is what actually moves the mouth
  2. 2.Keep a line under about 14 words for a 5s shot. Longer lines need a 10s or 15s shot or they cut off mid-sentence
  3. 3.Assign a voice per character in the cast panel to dub over the top, or leave it and keep the voice the model performs
  4. 4.Shots with no dialogue are silence-guarded. Without that, models invent speech, sometimes in another language

Pro Tips

  • •Storyboarding is always free. Draft as many boards as you like and pay only when you lock one
  • •Anchor the look to a real medium a working cinematographer could reproduce — "1979 practical-effects sci-fi on anamorphic 35mm" — or every model defaults to the same purple-and-blue slop
  • •Longer shots mean fewer cuts, and cuts are where the artifacts live. Two 15s takes beat six 5s ones
  • •Video arrives at 24fps, which reads choppy on a phone. Interpolating to 48fps is worth it for social
  • •A failed run costs nothing. Credits are spent on delivery only

  1. 1.Choose your style: Trap, Conscious, Old School, Storytelling, Aggressive, or Melodic
  2. 2.Select an AI model: The Technician (GPT) for complex schemes, The Provocateur (Grok) for edgy content, or Both to compare
  3. 3.Enter your theme or topic - be specific for better results
  4. 4.Set the number of bars (8-32)
  5. 5.Click Generate and wait for your lyrics
  6. 6.Use "Listen" to hear the AI read your lyrics aloud
  7. 7.Click "Save" to store lyrics in My Creations - unsaved lyrics are lost when you leave
  8. 8.Use "Copy" to paste into your notes, or "Use" to continue building on them

Pro Tips

  • •Multisyllabic rhymes are automatic - the AI prioritizes complex rhyme patterns
  • •Adult content is allowed - street language, profanity, and explicit themes work fine
  • •Use "Continue" mode to extend existing lyrics seamlessly
  • •Use "Rewrite" mode to polish your own bars while keeping your voice
  • •Use "Rhyme Suggestions" to get options for your last line

Steps

  1. 1.Describe your cover concept - include colors, mood, subjects, and style
  2. 2.Select a format: Album, Single, Mixtape, or EP
  3. 3.Choose a mood: Dark, Vibrant, Minimal, Luxury, Street, or Abstract
  4. 4.Pick aspect ratio (1:1 for most platforms)
  5. 5.Click Generate and wait ~15-30 seconds
  6. 6.Download immediately or it will be auto-saved to My Creations
  7. 7.Use Edit mode to refine specific parts of your image

Pro Tips

  • •Be descriptive: "shadowy figure in hoodie, neon city background, rain, cinematic" works better than "cool cover"
  • •Reference real art styles: "in the style of vintage 90s hip-hop posters"
  • •Include text placement hints: "leave space at top for title"
  • •Generated covers are automatically saved to your gallery

VIDEO_GEN

Generate cinematic music videos from text prompts

Steps

  1. 1.Describe your video scene - be cinematic and specific
  2. 2.Choose a style: Cinematic, Animated, Abstract, or Realistic
  3. 3.Select aspect ratio: 16:9 (landscape), 9:16 (portrait/TikTok), or 1:1 (square)
  4. 4.Pick duration: 5 seconds or 9 seconds
  5. 5.Click Generate - videos take 1-3 minutes to render
  6. 6.Download your video when complete

Pro Tips

  • •Each video is one continuous shot - think of single scenes, not montages
  • •Include camera movement: "slow dolly forward", "orbiting shot", "static wide angle"
  • •Describe lighting: "golden hour", "neon-lit", "dramatic shadows"
  • •Videos cost more than images - be specific on first try
  • •Download videos promptly - they are saved to your gallery automatically
